Some of the more observant of you will have noticed that my poor blog has been a bit neglected of late – so I apologise, particularly after my last posting berating people who have online blogs/twitter/facebook accounts and never update them!
What can I say? It’s been a busy few weeks with some spectacular and scary events dotted throughout…
I paid an unexpected visit to hospital a few weeks ago now, which has definitely put everything out of kilter since… many of my friends have commented that I couldn’t have done it in a more spectacular or attention grabbing way but lets just say it involved a stop on the side of a motorway, a police car, ambulance car and an ambulance! Probably this sounds more exciting than it actually was but thankfully I’m ok – it was those pesky gall stones so just waiting now to have them whipped out! On the plus side it’s very good for the diet, there’s always a silver lining!
We also enjoyed a lovely family holiday to sunny Devon – definitely picked the right week for it and enjoyed the simple pleasures of sandcastle/fort making and also the game of digging holes and sending the kids to the sea to fetch water to fill them. A good time was had by all.
So, I’m off to hospital soon (when the NHS tell me to) and I promise to update more when I’ve had a nice rest and recovered.
